Where can I use the lotion?
We recommend our lotion for anywhere you would use any other beauty product. (External use only.) Besides the hands, it has wonderful effects on dry scaly spots like elbows and heels. Try it on your cuticles too for a treat you won't find at the manicure table! Remember to use sparingly!

What is in these candles that make them good for my skin?
Our candles are formulated with only the finest blend of botanical ingredients, and are naturally rich In vitamins A,C, E, F, and antioxidants. Pure shea butter, avocado oil, jojoba, aloe, olive oil, beeswax, coconut oil, mild soy, and essential oils are the key components. On their own each of these is known to have wonderful benefits for the skin. Together, they combine to form a luxurious and extraordinary blend available only in our special products.

What is the best way to burn the candles?
We recommend letting the melted pool reach the edge of the container each time before the flame is extinguished. This will ensure that your Lotion Candle burns properly all the way to the end.

Are your products tested on animals?
L'ocean has never tested any of its products on animals. Rigorous testing is performed by Dermatological laboratories on all of our products before they are released on the market. We are pleased to have a 100% pass history for all skin safety evaluations to date!

I love your scents, but why are there not any color choices- just the natural color?
Currently there are not any natural dyes available that are compatible with our proprietary blend. While there are synthetic dyes that would color the blend, none of them have been evaluated and found to be skin safe. Your safety is of the utmost importance. You may, however, notice slight color differences between scents and even different batches of the same scent. This is due to the natural colors of the raw materials used in our products, which can vary from crop to crop.

Do you use lead free wicks?
Lead wicks are not available in the United States any more. Most people confuse zinc cored wicks with lead these days. L'ocean uses only 100% cotton wicks in our candles, providing for the best possible burn.

Can I use any of my other candles like this?
Sorry, but only Lotion Candles by L'ocean are formulated to be applied as a beneficial lotion after they are burned. Other candles may contain dangerous additives or fragrances which may cause adverse reactions. NEVER try to use just any candle as you would a Lotion Candle.
